EjectDisk is an extremely useful extension/application combination - once you start using it you will wonder how you ever lived without it! By pressing a key combination (which you can easily change) you can eject floppy disks, Zip/SyQuest/Jaz disks or CD-ROM disks quickly, easily and without any hassle. No more having to drag disks to the trash to eject them! Multiple key combinations can be set (each key ejecting one or more types of disk), and which CD or Zip/SyQuest/Jaz disk to eject can be specified. It even works with the latest USB drives! (currently the Imation SuperDrive, Iomega Zip and Apple USB floppy drives).
EjectDisk has an additional feature that may appeal to people - it can eject any CDs still in the computer when the computer is shut down.
EjectDisk is different from using Command-Y (or Command-E) within the Finder in two ways - you can be in any program (not just the Finder) when you eject the disk, and you don't have to select the disk first. Both reasons make using EjectDisk much quicker and easier than ejecting disks the old way.
Full documentation is included within the application (just click the button labelled '?', or select 'About EjectDisk…' from the Apple menu). If you have any problems, queries, suggestions or bug reports, please contact us at one of the addresses below.

PLEASE NOTE: Registrations should not be sent to the above address!! Registrations are handled by Kagi, so it couldn't be simpler. There are two ways to register.
If you have a credit card and internet access, the easiest way is to register online using the Kagi Online Order Processing service. The URL for this is <http://order.kagi.com/?VM&S> (or <http://order.kagi.com/?VM> if your browser cannot handle secure transactions).
If you do not have a credit card, or if you do not want to send money over the internet, you will have to use the Register program that accompanies EjectDisk. Simply open the program, fill in the appropriate information, save or print the resulting registration form, and send it to Kagi at:
Kagi
1442-A Walnut Street PMB #392-VM
Berkeley, California 94709-1405
USA
If paying with Credit Card or First Virtual, you can email or fax the data to Kagi. Their email address is <sales@kagi.com> and their fax number is +1 510 652-6589. You can either Copy the data from Register and paste into the body of an email message or you can Save the data to a file and you can attach that file to an email message. There is no need to compress the data file, it's already pretty small. If you have a fax modem, just Print the data to the Kagi fax number.
